MODEL PHOTOGRAPHER ARTIST

I favour oils, palette knives, charcoal, biros and masking tape when it comes to getting my ideas down. Lots of layers and thick textures. I avoid using black paint where possible. I'm passionate about art being personal and encouraging others to get involved, think, empathise and associate. Palette knives, fingers and very occasionally toes create tactile, texture laden pieces that I am proud of.

I'm constantly on the look out for life models.

I firmly believe the idea is more important than the execution.

I'm inspired by music, film, literature, skyscapes, electrical pylons and telephone masts. I like concepts that deal with connections.

Hugely appreciative of Ashley Wood, John Howe and Ron Mueck.
